Off-leash dog parks in Waverley Council
Waverley (Bondi, Bronte, Tamarama, Dover Heights) has a mix of all-day off-leash parks and timed areas along the coast. Dogs are prohibited on Waverley's beaches, so the coastal options are gullies and headland parks rather than sand.
Council rules to know
- Even in off-leash parks, keep dogs 10m away from children's play areas, outdoor BBQ areas and sports/recreation fields.
- Dogs are prohibited on beaches and intertidal areas, in pools, schools, playgrounds, BBQ areas, bushcare areas and sports fields/courts as signposted.
- Dangerous, menacing or restricted dogs can never be off-leash in public.
